The Blue Rock Thrush inhabits rocky mountainous areas but also resides at lower levels where it breeds in quarries, on ruinded buildings and even churches.. They feed on a diet of insects, berries and small lizards. They are most conspicuous when sitting on a rock tops surveying the area for prey. The photographs on this page were taken at Praia Da Rocha.
