The tiny coal tit is a resident bird and a very agile one indeed. These friendly little birds are very common in Britain and are found in broadleaved and conifer woods as well as in gardens and parks. If you hang up a bird feeder and fill it with peanuts, this is one of the regular visitors you can expect to see in your garden.
