The Other Side of the Stream - C B McCully

| Review |
This is a beautifully written set of reflections on
fly fishing. The essays range over many topics, always poignant,
witty and poetic. You will not find this the easiest of books to
read... or to put down; it is a book to make you think about the
many changes that fishing has gone through; about the challenges and
the magic of wild places; about why you go fishing.
Chris McCully has written a lovely book; a sequel,
perhaps, to 'The Treatise of Fishing with an Angle', on the wisdom
of which it comments.
Highly recommended
