Anagallis tenella - Bog Pimpernel - (Primulaceae)

This lovely little wildflower is localised in the south and west of the UK and Ireland.

Bog Pimpernel favours damp and acidic substrates, but can also be found in dune slacks. It forms dense mats of pale pink flowers which have slender stalks.
