Harebells

This slender, delicate flower is known as the bluebell in Scotland. In Wales, and other parts of the UK and Europe, it grows in great abundance on banks, sparse hedgerows and well drained slopes. It is a flower mainly of the higher ground.

Harebells bloom from July until October, prolonging the summer just when most wildflowers are dying back.
