Erica multiflora - (Ericaceae)

Similar to Erica manipuliflora, this shrub is more rigid and erect in its growing habit.

Erica multiflora - whole plant

A member of the Ericaceae family, Erica multiflora flowers from November until March. It is well known from the Iberian Peninsula and eastwards to Italy and Sicily; and it also occurs in North West Africa.

This plant can be found on rocky hillslopes and also in and on the edges of woodland. The flowers are pale pink, narrow and bell-shaped and up to 7mm in length.
