Linaria algarviana - Algarve Toadflax - (Scrophulariaceae)

Linaria algarviana

This little flower is endemic to the Algarve in Portugal and is becoming increasingly rare. It is now listed in the Red List of endangered plant species.

We found this specimen in abandoned farmland in the southern part of the Algarve in May. It is a member of the Figwort family (Scrophulariaceae).
