Linaria reflexa - (Scrophulariaceae)

This is one of many lovely toadflax plants that grow in the Mediterranean region and which can be found almost anywhere in the countryside. It flowers from April to June.

Asphodelus aestivus

Linaria reflexa is a member of the Figwort family, Scrophulariaceae, and it favours sandy, coastal habitats.

This specimen was photographed in the Algarve, Portugal in April.
