Lysimachia vulgaris - Yellow Loosestrife
Unrelated to the purple loosestrife, despite
its structural similarity, the yellow loosestrife is actually a member of the primrose
family.

It is a marginal plant and thrives beside spate rivers, although you will also see
cultivated varieties in gardens, often in quite dryish areas. Yellow loosestrife is
quite plentiful on the Hendy beat of the River Teifi.
