Scilla bifolia - Alpine Squill

Alpine Squill is a perennial plant and a member of the Asparagus family.. It grows in scrubland, fields, meadows and grassland and is well distributed throughout the Mediterranean region. Alpine Squill can be found in mountains in southern and central European countries, often right up to the snow line, where it flowers from March until May.
