Casa Borboleta is a fully equipped, two-bedroomed town house, suitable for a family of four or two couples, situated in the peaceful resort of Monte Carvoeiro. It has been completely refurbished and has a modern kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine and two shower rooms/toilets, one of which is en suite to the master bedroom. The house is surrounded by attractive communal gardens and has a shared swimming pool with sun terraces. It's a great base from which to visit the many wildflower sites - especially wild orchids - on the Algarve...

During your visit the house will be fully serviced with towels and linen and a maid visits twice during the week.

If you are too tired to cook we strongly recommend two restaurants in the small square adjacent to the villa - O Salmao and Elliots. If you venture into the village, which is a short stroll away, we recommend Maximes (for a special treat) or Columbo's serving an excellent range of European dishes until late in the evening. There is also a good pizza restaurant and takeaway a minutes walk from the house called Mama Mia.

Also on the site is a coffee shop and a medical centre. The reception office is manned every day and the staff are able to advise on all aspects of your holiday, from booking excursions to providing timetables for the local markets.

The fishing village of Carvoeiro is a five minute walk from the house. It has excellent shops, two markets (one dedicated to pottery) numerous restaurants, a tourist information office and two beaches.
