Great Meadow Rue flowering on the roadside in the Pirin Mountains of Bulgaria

This beautiful wildlfower grows to well in excess of a metre in height and its frothy flowers are white with a slightly pinkish tinge - very unlike the meadow rues that are more common in the UK. Great meadow rue blooms on roadsides and in grasslands from the end of May until July.
