A small selection of the 2000+ fish species of Maldives coral reefs

During a Naturetrek visit to the Maldives in February 2016, we spent time on the Ari Queen, from which twice-daily snorkelling expeditions provided opportunities to see, photograph and occasionally video reef fish and other marine creatures in the warm waters around coral reefs. This carousel slideshow contains just a small sample of the hundreds of species encountered during our brief time in the Maldives.
